At GFormMaker, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your information through our apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android and related services (referred to collectively as the "Services"). We are dedicated to protecting your privacy in accordance with the terms of this policy.
We adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and observe its Limited Use requirements when using information obtained from Google APIs. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The specifics include:
Restricting human access to your data unless we receive your explicit consent, or it's needed for security purposes or to comply with the law.
Prohibiting the use of your data for advertising purposes such as retargeting, personalized, or interest-based ads.
Using the data solely to enhance or provide user-centric features visible in our application.
Allowing data transfer only when necessary to facilitate or improve user-centric features.
Never selling your data, or transferring it to data brokers or information resellers.
When you sign in with Google, you choose to give our app access to the following. Google shows you these permissions before you agree.
Basic profile (name, email address, profile photo): to identify your account and keep your settings with it.
Google Drive: to list, open, create, copy, rename, move and delete the forms and folders you manage in the app, and to export responses. We use this access only for the forms and folders you work with in the app.
Google Forms: to read and edit your forms, show their responses and summaries, and change their settings (for example, closing a form).
Google Apps Script (only when you turn on a feature that needs it): to change form settings that Google's Forms API doesn't offer, and to send the email notifications and response copies you turn on. These emails are sent from your own Google account.
We keep only the data needed for the features you use:
Your account: your name, email address, profile photo link, sign-in dates and app settings, kept until you delete your account.
Notifications and response limits: when you sign in, we securely store an encrypted Google access token (a refresh token) on our servers. It lets the app notify you about new responses and close a form at the limit or date you set, even when the app is closed.
The token is encrypted with Google Cloud Key Management Service.
Only our notification service can use it.
It's never shared or sent back to your device.
We delete it when you delete your account, or when you remove the app's access in your Google Account.
Forms where you turn notifications on: we store the form's ID and title, which features are on, and the number and time of the latest responses we processed. We read new responses only to count them and notify you; we do not store your respondents' answers.
Push notifications: your device's notification token, until you sign out on that device or delete your account.
Images you add to a question: uploaded temporarily so they can be inserted into your form, then deleted; any leftover is deleted automatically within 7 days.
We do not store your forms' questions, your form responses, the contents of your Google Drive files, or your emails. Other information fetched from Google services (such as your form lists and responses) is used only while you use the app, and is cleared from your device when you sign out.
Our servers are hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase in the United States. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
Delete Account (in the app: Settings → Data → Delete Account):
permanently deletes your account data, notification settings and stored Google token from our servers;
removes the app's access to your Google Account;
clears the app's data from your device.
Your Google Forms and Drive files stay in your Google account.
Turn Off Notifications & Delete Data (in the app: Settings → Data): turns off all your form notifications and response limits, and deletes their data.
Remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our servers then can no longer access your account, and the stored token is deleted.
Email us at the address below to request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion.
To cancel a subscription, use your device's subscription settings; deleting your account doesn't cancel it.
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. In accordance with this policy, we do not share any personal information with third-party AI platforms (OpenAI), with the sole exception of the prompts or text you input while utilizing AI to create Google Forms or quizzes. For example, a prompt such as 'User feedback form for a t-shirt brand' may be shared.
It is important to note that these prompts are processed in a manner that completely disassociates them from your identity: we send only the text you entered, without your name, email address or any account identifier, so they cannot be linked back to you. Please avoid including personal information in the text you enter. We do not send your Google Drive files, forms or responses to AI platforms. Additionally, we implement strict data security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of your data.
Our application does not use any data obtained from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. We access Google Workspace data only to provide the features you request, as described in this policy.
We gather various types of information, including:
Personal Information: This includes details like your name & email address which you provide when you register for our Services or interact with us.
Usage Information: We automatically collect information related to your interactions and usage of our Services, such as log data and device information.
Device Information: Your device's push notification token, so we can send you the notifications you turn on.
To deliver and manage our Services, including account creation, payment processing, and communications regarding your account.
To customize your experience with our Services, offering tailored content and recommendations.
To improve and innovate our Services by analyzing trends and user behaviors.
To safeguard our rights and property and fulfill our legal responsibilities.
Information obtained from Google APIs is used only as described in "Google Data We Access and Why", and never for advertising or for tailored recommendations.
We might share your information under these circumstances:
With your consent.
With third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services, such as hosting (Google Cloud and Firebase), notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple's or Google's push services; notifications show your form's title), payment processing, analytics and customer support.
In response to legal requests or when necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users and the public.
Our apps use the following services. They receive device and usage information, such as app version, device model, screens used and crash reports. They never receive your Google data (form contents, titles, folder names, responses or email addresses):
Analytics and app stability: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring, and Mixpanel.
Advertising and measurement (free version): Google AdMob, AppsFlyer and Google's on-device conversion measurement.
Subscriptions: Adapty, the Apple App Store and Google Play. We never receive your payment details.
App security: Firebase App Check, which confirms requests come from our genuine app.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Stored Google access tokens are additionally encrypted with Google Cloud Key Management Service, with the key rotated every 90 days.
Our server processes have only the minimum access they need.
Access to our systems is limited to authorized staff.
However, no security system is infallible, and we cannot guarantee complete security of your data.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal, technical, or business practices. Should there be a significant modification, we will notify you via email or through a notice on our website.
